PETALING JAYA: Rohas Tecnic Bhd’s share price rose 2.22% this morning, after its unit HG Power Transmission Sdn Bhd secured a combined contract worth RM54 million from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd.
At 11.48am, the stock stood at RM1.38 with 177,600 shares changing hands. Its market capitalisation stood at RM656.99 million.
Rohas Tecnic said the project is funded by KfW Development Bank, Germany, and is to be completed in 24 months.
The group said the project would not have any material impact on its results for the year ending Dec 31, 2017 but is expected to contribute positively in the future.
